Ceramic pieces are made using a white earthenware clay, sourced in the UK and finished with underglaze colours, coloured slips and engobes.

Pieces are fired twice, once to bisqueware and then to between 1060-1100 degrees.

Surfaces are worked using various techniques such as impressing, incising and relief decoration, with many features modelled and sculpted by hand.
